We
have a good chance for a veto.
It is going
to take many people to get involved - both
Californians and non-Californians.
When you use the LobbyNow
Tool you will be sending a fax letter
to Governor Schwarzenegger as well as an e-mail.
The LobbyNow
Tool will generate many different versions
of letters. The Talking Points you see will
be different than what others see. The Tool
will randomly display a small number of available
Talking Point Groups. The next person using
the Tool will see a different selection of
Groups.
Your fax needs to be no longer than one page!
When you add your own comments you must keep
the one page limit in mind. If you have a
lot of comments, that's great! In that case,
don't choose any Talking Points.
Your letter
to the Governor can make all the difference!
Pick up the phone and call your friends -
both Californians and non-Californians - and
ask them to use the Tool to send their letters.
Non-Californians should use the Tool but should
consider excluding your mailing addresses.
We especially need more participation from
California voters to put SB 861 to sleep!
This does not mean non-Californians should
not send your faxes. You should! Senator McClintock's
Chief of Staff made that very request today.
