The Meaning Behind This Message Is Simple.

As Dog Lovers, Enthusiasts, Breeders, Trainers, Exhibitors, & Owners, when faced with Political harassment through by-laws, legislative policies or Community Restrictions with regards to a Specific Breed, WE SHALL STAND TOGETHER as Responsible Owners and as One Body to Fight for the right to responsibly own, breed, exhibit, train or handle any breed of dog we choose.

If we DO NOT 'Stand United' and speak as One on the issues relating to any Specific Breed, then one-by-one, various breeds of dogs will become either a rarity, too expensive to possess or all together, extinct and the Dog People will Fall, one-by-one.

It began over 15 years ago, when citizens were first enlightened to the way the Government wanted to handle certain cases involving dog bites and dog attacks.

Instead of pursuing the Owners of the canine assailants and pressing charges, laying down heavy fine, restricting them from canine ownership or simply investigating the possible neglect of the canine; they instead, decided to 'Label' certain Breeds of dogs and placed a fear of these dogs into the public because of the 'labelling'.

Despite testimonials from Professional Organizations such as Veterinary Medical Personnel, Show and Obedience Judges, numerous established Breeders, Search 'n' Rescue Organizations, Service Dog Agencies, Law Enforcement Agencies and many more, the List of dogs 'labelled' grew from one breed to 4 breeds within a matter of months then to 8 breeds in some areas and even 15 different breeds in some countries.

This 'label' was 'Dangerous'.

Politicians ignored the Testimonies and Statistics of so many and were convinced that certain breeds of dogs were 'Born' vicious.

The 'labelling' has now turned to Restrictions and Banning of certan breeds in certain areas and it is Spreading - through fear, and the List is Growing - through ignorance.

Breed Specific Legislation is a worldwide dilemma facing all dog owners & enthusiasts and if it hasn't reached you yet, it will.

It's not funny to hear of a child being bit or attacked by a dog; it's not even amusing to hear that someone's small pet was killed by a dog; but is equally not funny to hear of someone's bird was eaten by a cat or someone's small pet was attacked & killed by a predator of any size.

We agree that these DEEDS should not go unrecognized or un-punished.

Penalties should apply to any threat to a house-hold, community, city or country, whether it be the man that stabbed the women in the park, the teenager that shot his/her fellow students at school, or the unsupervised dog that just attacked the neighbour.

Was it the knife or the Owner of the knife that stabbed the women?

Was it the gun or the Owner of the gun that killed the students?

Was it the dog or the negligence, lack of control and irresponsibility of the dog Owner that injured the neighbour?

Ownership or possession of anything dangerous requires Responsibility and we want the governments to recognize this simple fact and NOT Place Blame on any One Individual, Species or Breed.
